1st, the unimaginable *horror*: The walls of our house are made of AAC; it stands for autoclaved aerated concrete. It is a superb insulator (house can be kept cool in summer, warm as toast in winter with low energy bills all 'round), it's a handy building-material too, since it is light (density ~0.5).

BUT: An AK47 bullet would go straight through it, and a rocket-propelled grenade would blow it to bits.

The walls of buildings blown-up in Libya and Syria look to be made of the same sort of material.

AK47s and RPGs seem to be the weapons of choice, for the so-called "lightly armed rebels" (also "UK military advisers to help Libyan rebels" - last year, it's the trend), which can blow up tanks, and we see the damage inflicted on innocent citizens' houses. Any connection, do you think? Now imagine similar inflicted on your house and family. I think it's not really possible to imagine your own family blown to bloody shreds - but that's what the US not just 'supports' but actually does, see "Shock'n whore" in Iraq, what F+UK/NATO did to Libya, what the CIA is helping to do to Syria (thnx NYT, with Iran said to be next target, thnx Wesley Clark.)

Now we read about "nearly two dozen man-portable air defense systems (MANPADS);" Turkey Supplies Syrian Rebels With Air Defense Missiles, "possibly initiated by Turkey, Saudi Arabia or Qatar" - thanks, but "No, thanks!" to external arms suppliers. MANPADS are ideal, of course, for use in heavily populated cities where the rebels like to 'set up shop.'

Argument; there should be no argument, but one can be made step by step with proof of each step:

1. No person has any more 'indispensable' possession than his/her own life; to lose it prematurely (by accident, say) is already disastrous, but to be deliberately murdered is to have the ultimate calamity imposed by some swine of a perpetrator[4]. Hence, murder is the worst crime.

2. As at any crime-scene, we ask the std. Qs: Means, motive, opportunity + modus operandi & cui bono? A: The US(Zs) have both form *and* (hubristic[2]) intention: Wesley Clark 'leaked' the Pentagon's plans (how we're going to take out seven countries in five years), list includes Syria. Not only that, but the NYT told us that the CIA was active; add that now *known* to be 'on the ground' to the years of undermining, subverting and fomenting by NED, USAID etc. and it's 'an open and shut case, m'lud!'

3. As (2) = accusing the US(Zs) may be a) accepted by some but then b) risibly 'justified' as 'all in a good cause' (possibly by claiming to be bringing 'democratic freedom' via "Shock'n whore," say (like killing a village to save it)), we refer to (1) and ask Q: Who's killing whom, and how many? A: As at Nuremberg, which "contains within itself the accumulated evil of the whole," the US/Zs are far ahead in numbers of people murdered for spoil (in Iraq alone, since ~1990, perhaps over 2.5mio dead, due *directly* to US-interference).

Comment 2: The expression "Joe 6-pack" amuses me, although it is part of 'detested US-speak.' In Aus at least, buying beer 'by the 6-pack' is inordinately expensive - compared to buying it 'slab-wise,' say. So much more expensive (~100%+, say), that I can't understand why anyone *in their right mind* would do so - but nevertheless, they do, and quite often. I can only theorise that they do so - because they 'learned' it from some TV-show or other. (How-bloody-else?) But I *do* care if %(c) is too much less than %(d).

3. (The crux:) I *do* care, and that *a lot*, as *to whom* I (or my analogues = we the people) pay any %.

4. Under a fully-unreal money = fiat system, whether fractional-reserve (nominal 10%, say) or not, the great bulk of our money is 'created' by private banks then lent out; all interest accrues to such 'money creators.'

5. I do *not* understand why any 'private bank' may create money at *zero* cost to itself, then loan such creations out only to charge some % - for doing, essentially, *zero work*. This is not 'value for money' by any means, only 'money for jam,' and in our so-called 'democracies,' our so-called 'representatives' allow this *utter scam* to be perpetrated upon us, we the people.

Not only that, but when neoliberal ideology is used to force governments to cut taxes (mostly off the already-rich), simultaneously being unable to reduce (essential!) services to compensate, then govts. go further into debt, forcing them to borrow *even more*, AND (again), we the taxpayers then pay the interest falling due.

Not only that, but when neoliberal ideology is used to force governments to not merely allow but encourage foreign direct investment (FDI), then all related profits+interest 'earned' flow out of the country - except any possibly 'clawed back' (detested US-speak) by taxes (kept as low as possible, again by neoliberalism.)

Not only that, but when neoliberal ideology is used to force governments themselves to borrow money on the 'free market' (as opposed to 'borrowing' from a central bank, say), such as currently in the fully synthetic EU, we the people/they the local taxpayers, then pay the interest falling due.

Now, after some and or all of the above, countries all over the place, *including* the US, are falling into so-called 'debt crises,' for which they are all rushing to implement 'austerity programs' - what I call 'spiral down.'

Suggestion: If you haven't then please consider reading Perkins' "Economic Hit Man," then compare to Greece, say. An economic crime in progress, and not just the only one, not by a long way.

More discussion: As Berman points out, greed did not arrive with neoliberalism, itself arriving with Thatcher (TINA!), Reagan (voodoo economics) & Hawke/Keating (economic rationalism) in their respective 'spheres.' In each case, the rhetoric far exceeded any benefits - as we now see, and that in spades. In each case, changes of government brought no effective changes in policy; neoliberalism = bipartisan = un- & anti-democratic.

Part of the rhetoric was supplied by Hollywood: i.e. Gordon Gecko's "Greed is good." All of the rhetoric was supported by the corrupt&venal MSM+PFBCs. Comment 1: Utterly risible disinformation. The US 'secrecy' is so full of holes that a presidential 'secret order' gets into the AusBC 'news,' possibly even before Obama's ink has dried? You believe this sort of s**t? Not only that, but the US has been actively involved in fomenting trouble for yonks, almost from the year dot. Q: How do we know this? A: They often so boast.

Comment 2: Just as in Libya, the demos turned violent. One question is Q: Who did the turning? A: One answer is 'US-fomenting.'[2] Of course, the US prefers another A: Assad - but the US *has* to say that, a) to demonise Assad and b) to disguise the criminal US' handiwork. We *know* that the US *officially* spends squillions subverting its (or perhaps more often, Zs') perceived 'enemies,' and recently the NYT confirmed the CIA being actively involved; now we have ditto from the AusBC. Another snip: "Brown says he is surprised by the rebels' resources and organisation." Brown clearly can't see the CIA organizers' fingerprints and/or methodologies (perhaps "none so blind?") The US death-squad modus operandi bears the name 'El Salvador Option' with good - actually, of course, bad - reason.

Comment (part-repeat): Having seen Saddam/Iraq and Gaddafi/Libya, it would be 'curious' of Assad to provide the US any rope with which to hang himself. Yet this is what 'the West' = US+SQSHsO PRopaganda would have us, we the people, believe. Article after article, as above from the AusBC contain grim images designed to shock and revolt, describing outrages which by all good sense, can hardly be happening - if perpetrated by Assad, but *perfectly* concurrent with the externally supplied and supported drive towards 'regime-change.' Again the US-hubris; Clark told us, years ago, that smashing Assad among others ("how we're going to take out seven countries in five years") was official US policy.

Musing: The AusBC must know what they are doing; a) their 'reports' are indistinguishable from any other 'Western' MSM and/or PFBC outfit, and b) their 'reports' invariably support the 'Western' = US+SQSHsO line = we ('the West') good, Assad ('the monster') bad. It means that the AusBC is 'in the loop,' they are acting consciously = conspirators in support of Nuremberg-class crime, since their intentions are kept from us.
