20 years, they say, wrangling about this - and suddenly a breakthrough, simultaneously isolating three of US' 'prime' targets - such an unexpected coincidence! And NGOs preening, "Look what we can do!"

This is nothing but breathless hypocrisy; the text was obviously constructed such that Syria, Iran and N.Korea were made to feel that they had no other option but to vote against it, and Russia (amongst others) abstained. Funny, that Syria, Iran and N.Korea are US-declared 'enemies,' N.Korea having already long ago been smashed:

N.Korea is still under US-pressure; some say their latest threats are actually a call for direct negotiations - to get that pressure *off* them.

Iran suffered a violent, anti-democratic US/UK coup in 1953, since the Iranians took their country back in 1979, the US has mercilessly pursued them. The US(NATO) plus Arab League is now sponsoring alien invaders to infiltrate and attack Syria, and not so long ago F+UK/NATO smashed Libya. Some NGOs 'help' in these smashings; unless so-called responsible entities actively oppose crimes-in-progress, they make themselves accessories.

Vis-à-vis Iraq, the UN did nothing +ve, the then UN-Sec-Gen admitted that the US/UK/Aus attack was illegal - and yet now, the UN and various NGOs are celebrating a treaty which may, one day, do something against the dirty, *murdering* arms business, which the US leads, and Germany, say, supplies nuclear-capable submarines to Israel - the same Israel that has stolen most of pre-UNGA181 Palestine = ethnic cleansing by genocidal methods, seemingly UN-approved - or at least, *proven* by the bloody, 65+ year long status quo, UN-tolerated.

The situation is much worse than this 'quickie' describes; we are being 'smothered' in vast lie-clouds, while the <1% consolidates its control over the world, syphoning ever more of our, we (= 99%+) the people's $s into their already obscenely rich pockets, and allowing the ruining of our once jewel-like planet's comfortable life-supporting ecosphere.

Argument: The Catholic Church calls itself 'exceptional' by claiming (as do all other such religions), a 'direct line' to some g*d. life = entropy food; what goes in less a bit consumed equals what goes out

We should all know this, but some bits seem to be unknown to, or forgotten by some people: Consider a 'primitive' hunter-gatherer family; some members (usually not all) go out to find food (animal or vegetable, say). The 'bounty of nature' is returned to the family (camp, cave, hut etc.), and then everybody eats it, possibly after cooking. Hunting, gathering (primary employment) and cooking (service industry) are termed 'work' and not everyone (children, retirees) has to work but all get fed; it's called sharing. Any food not required by the active workers is called an 'economic surplus,' any left after all eat can be stored for the future (= 'saving'). If not enough food is found, every one 'diets,' if none is found for long enough (and the cupboard is bare), they all starve. There's a bit more called 'waste disposal;' edible bits can go to the dogs else the rubbish-heap, then there's the tor-lets. Another required input is water (Aus-speak: wardah); it is *not* good for the rubbish-heap or the tor-lets to pollute the wardah.

Generally, all life follows this pattern:

life = entropy;
food; what goes in
less a bit consumed
equals what goes out

Entropy means *dis*order, and always increases; here are two examples from 'real' life:

1. Sunshine falls on the ground, where grass grows by converting sunlight + CO2 into roots, shoots and leaves. Cows (or geese) graze on the green grass, hunter-gatherers may then gather milk, eggs or meat - or if the 'grass' is in fact lettuce, a salad = a nicely balanced diet (markedly different from the approaching starvation diet that Israel inflicts on Gaza, say.)

2. Sunshine falls on the wardah, where plankton grows by converting sunlight + CO2 into fish-food, the fish in turn may be caught by local hunter-gatherers (except where prevented, like the Gazans by Israel, say.)

In both cases (not the 3rd = starvation), sunlight is turned into food lower down in a food-chain, and the 'top' predator extracts energy from the food, the residue ending up as waste - a disordered state quite different to that seen on the supermarket shelves, say.

There is a form of 'life' differing from the above examples; I refer to capitalist accumulation. Ever-more of the economic surplus produced by workers is 'harvested' by the <1%, a) 1st by forcing productivity up ("Work longer for less or get fired!") = lowering 'wage/work' density, b) 2ndly by off-shoring jobs = unemployment, reducing income possibly to zero, and c) by "buying low and selling high" = ripping-off 'what the market will bear,' vs. 'cost plus a fair mark-up.' Any profit ripped-off over cost plus a fair mark-up is called super-profit, or economic rent (see Aus mining, say). Hence Keynes' insistence on “the euthanasia of the rentier.” (Also explains why Keynes has fallen out of fashion in <1% circles.)

The preceding para. talked of ripping off workers, by 'classic' capitalist processes plus neoliberalism (aka economic rationalism) and globalisation. It is extremist; every resource is to be exhaustively exploited; i.e. forests razed, oceans emptied, workers reduced to starvation wages. No proof is offered here, except to say "Open your eyes, look around."

At least two other forms of rip-offs are under way; the criminal bankster-swindle of $-creation, loaned out @ %, and 'financialisation' whereby service-providers are turned into toll-booth operations; privatisation (= theft) of public utilities or infrastructure and subsequent profit extraction, often after loading up enterprises with loans = more rip-offs to banksters (plus their blood-sucking shareholders, almost all in the <1%.)

A further way capitalist accumulation differs from 'normal life' is that the accumulation tends to get frozen; they can never *spend* all their mostly ill-gotten gains, but either park it at %, or gamble it away on stock exchanges and 'investment' banks when not outright casinos (all mostly also zero-sum; the $s go from one fat-cat to the next). Thus a vast proportion of the accumulation does not circulate; the 'circle of $ life' starts to contract - just like the IMF-SAPed victim countries' economies do - see PIIGS, again.

Now, to the point: We the people are being put through the above processes, and the results are ugly, and getting ever uglier. See the US, with ~50mio people on food-stamps, the last 'social' step before starvation. Health costs going through the roof; often to get sick is to bankrupt the family - then die anyway. Unemployment never comes down, except possibly by fiddling the figures. (See NYT today: "Recovery in U.S. Lifting Profits, Not Adding Jobs" - me: That's no recovery.) Look at the PIIGS Portugal, Italy, Ireland, Greece & Spain. Try this: "The Greek Catastrophe: “Economic Progress” Built on Rotten Political Foundations."

Our so-called 'leaders' (democratic; "of, by, for the people etc.") are not just not protecting us, they are *actively implementing* the <1%'s neoliberal = erring ideology policies which work mainly *against* us, we the people.

Never forget, here, the disastrous effects of the MSM + PFBCs, who transmit and *actively assist* the lying propaganda.

One of the biggest problems are actually three: a) The people have been ppp-dd'd (mainly via TV), and b) there is little debate and *no* effective countervailing power. Q: Where are the intellectuals? A: Sold out, apparently. Finally c), the depredations of the <1% directed at us, we the people, are cutting our collective incomes (spiral down); we're being put on a 'diet' - much like the Gazans.

The <1%, mad = lying, cheating, murdering to steal psychopaths, are not 'just' uselessly accumulating, they are attacking the basis of life itself. Their constriction of the 99% is cutting our inputs, we the people seem headed for starvation and eventual death. Nice types.

Fazit/last word: The actions of the <1% are a) clearly unsustainable and b) heading the world down the tubes = into the tor-let, with their rip-offs, wars and accompanying excess CO2 - who will stop these monsters?
