US hypocrisy
 US+Z criminality
  truly amazing idiocy

Musing 1: Some knew, or many of us feared, that following 9/11, *someone* would get smashed. We could even have guessed who, since we saw the videos of the Taliban destruction of the ancient stone Buddhas of Bamiyan. The Taliban had provided input into their own demonisation. Anyway, despite "there are no good targets in Afghanistan" [Rumsfeld then interrupted Bush to say], it was on. Apart from smashing a Muslim regime, there were 'extenuating (if oily) circumstances,' namely that the Taliban had refused an offer of allowing a pipeline, delivered along with the handy negotiating phrase: 'you may choose; a carpet of gold or bombs.'

Flow of Arms to Syria Through Iraq Persists, to U.S. Dismay
«WASHINGTON — The American effort to stem the flow of Iranian arms to Syria has faltered because of Iraq’s reluctance to inspect aircraft carrying the weapons through its airspace, American officials say.»
[nyt/for the empire]

Comment: Now *that's* hypocrisy. Just in the remote off-chance of you, dear reader, not yet knowing: The 'extension' of the Syrian 'Arab-Spring uprising,' turning it from any remotely democratic = by definition peaceful protest event or even movement, not into any 'civil war' but into a full-on *alien invasion* - arms and men both, mainly via Turkey (= NATO 'partner,' EU 'aspirant') = all sorts of invading armed idiots, perhaps a majority of whom are Al-Qaeda - attacking the legitimate govt. & not quite so incidentally, leading to mass deaths amongst the innocent population & wholesale destruction of homes and infrastructure - how would *you* like all that - in your neighbourhood?

And all the while, the US + SQSHsO are supporting the invaders, with all sorts of 'advice' (including intel., communications equipment AND special-forces = boots on the ground), plus lethal arms = matériel (mainly from Saudi Arabia, Qatar). The US++ feeds one side then dares to complain of others' countervailing efforts. As I said; *breathless* hypocrisy.

Educating the President
by Philip Giraldi, November 22, 2012
«And if that weren’t enough, the U.S. appears prepared to provide heavy weapons to the Syrian opposition while the question of whether or not to negotiate with Iran continues to hang in the air, though it will probably be rejected due to the usual domestic political considerations, which means AIPAC. U.S. client Israel is, as always, creating fresh crises obliging Washington to twist like a pretzel to demonstrate its love for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and all his works.»
[antiwar/Giraldi]

Comment 1: Note the confirmation: "the U.S. appears prepared to provide heavy weapons to the Syrian opposition" - whereas "appears prepared" should be taken with a grain of (ME) salt.

Comment 2: Note also the suggested, recommended policies. *Not* included is any suggestion of justice for the hapless, mainly Palestinian ELO/Os; my suggestion = RoR+RaR = Right of Return + Revest and Reparation (latter as in full = acceptable) - and a sincere "Sorry!"

Argument: Those who have not 'twigged' by now, that the US+Zs are the number-one criminals *on* the planet, *plus* the number-one threat *to* the planet - may leave (in the Aus-vernacular: Kindly piss off!)

-=*=-

Musing 2: Since the aggressive invasion of Afghanistan, we've had ditto for Iraq, Libya, Syria underway and Iran always "on the table" - recall Wesley Clark (US 4 Star General) US will attack 7 countries in 5 years - advance warning of criminal intent. It's what the US does; bullets and bombs can only destroy - look at what they leave behind.

It's never what they say - it's what they do that counts = mass murders and grisly destruction - thanks, but "No, thanks!" to US+Zs.

-=*=-

Fazit: Stop the US+Z criminals - now!
